In 2018 we realized something uncomfortable. Online shopping had become predictable. Every store looked the same, every layout repeated, every product forced into the same static grid.

Nothing felt creative. Nothing felt alive.

So we tried something simple. We sat on the floor with old magazines, ripped out pages, cut out outfits, and rearranged them piece by piece. No rules. No UI. Just hands and imagination. It was messy, imperfect, and strangely freeing. The more we played, the more we remembered how good it feels to build something yourself. Not just look at clothes, but interact with them. Move them. Remix them. Bring ideas to life right in front of you.

It felt personal. Natural. Almost therapeutic.

And it made one thing obvious: creativity shouldn’t be locked behind templates.

We built Outfit Builder to bring that feeling back.

In 2023, the first version of Outfit Builders went live.

People didn’t just scroll on a website. They envisioned something. They built their perfect outfits. They explored combinations. They surprised themselves. They connected with products in a way no standard layout has ever created.

For the first time, an online store felt like a place, not a page.

Today, the Outfit Builder is the most dynamic way to experience clothing online. Customers can drag and drop items, layer pieces, mix looks, overlap silhouettes, randomize ideas, or style directly on-body. It works on every device, even inside a headset. Every action keeps people engaged, curious, and genuinely involved.

In 2025, we released the Outfit Builder app for Shopify to make this experience accessible to every brand and store on Shopify instantly.

With the Diamond plan, simply hand off your images to us and we will do all of the work to make the backgrounds of your item images completely transparent, reduce their file size for faster load speeds, and size them to accurate dimensional proportions.

If you decide to select the Gold plan and plan to edit all of your item images on your own, you will receive a .PSD template via email with example product images to use as a reference guide for item image sizing and proportions. You can then upload them to the Item Image Submission form you'll receive after purchase of your plan.

Dream Theme App Terms of Service & Privacy Policy

This Policy explains how Dreamworld Lab LLC dba DBRMAN ("we," "our," or "us") provides and operates the Dream Theme App ("the App"), what data may be collected, how it is used, and the terms under which merchants ("you" or "your") may use the App. By installing or using the App, you agree to this Policy.

1. Introduction

The Dream Theme App enables Shopify merchants to install, customize, and manage Shopify theme upgrades, sections, and storefront enhancements. This Policy covers both our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Eligibility and Use

The App is intended for Shopify merchants. You must comply with all applicable laws and Shopify’s terms of service when using the App. You may not resell, sublicense, copy, redistribute, or misuse the App for unlawful or harmful purposes.

3. Data We Collect

To provide our services, the App may access certain store data through the Shopify API, including store information, product data, theme files, theme settings, and app-related configuration data where necessary.

The App may also request permission to read and write theme files in order to install, update, customize, migrate, or remove theme upgrades.

Merchants may also choose to upload their own images, files, text, or content directly into the App. This content may be stored on our servers or through third-party hosting providers.

We do not knowingly collect information directly from your customers outside of what is provided through Shopify’s systems.

4. How We Use Data

Data is used solely to enable and improve the App’s functionality, including installing theme upgrades, rendering storefront features, supporting uploads, managing app settings, migrating upgrades between themes, and troubleshooting.

We do not sell or rent merchant or customer data.

5. Data Storage and Security

Uploaded files, store data, theme-related data, and app settings may be stored on third-party hosting services.

We implement reasonable security measures to protect data; however, no method of storage or transmission is 100 percent secure.

Data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the App, support merchant requests, maintain app functionality, or comply with legal obligations.

6. Customer Data

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the App complies with applicable data protection laws such as GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable privacy laws.

We do not intentionally collect customer personal data unless it is provided through Shopify’s systems or becomes necessary to provide the App’s functionality.

If customer data is processed, we process it only as necessary to provide the App and only as instructed by you through your Shopify store.

7. Data Deletion

If you uninstall the App, we will automatically lose access to your Shopify store through Shopify’s API.

If you have uploaded files, saved settings, theme-related records, or other content stored through the App, you may request deletion of any stored copies by contacting us at:

8. GDPR and CCPA Rights

If you are located in a jurisdiction with data protection rights, including the European Union or California, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data.

9. Children’s Data

The App is not directed to or intended for children under the age of 13, or the minimum age of consent in your jurisdiction.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

10. Third-Party Services

The App may use third-party providers for hosting, storage, analytics, billing, support, and related functions.

These services process data on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy and security practices.

11. Cookies and Tracking

The App itself does not use cookies to track individual end customers.

If analytics, tracking tools, or additional cookies are added in the future, this Policy will be updated accordingly.

12. Merchant Responsibilities

You are responsible for your own compliance with applicable laws and for providing any required notices or consents to your customers.

Your customers’ relationship is with you, not with us.

You are also responsible for reviewing any changes made to your Shopify theme before publishing them to your live storefront.

13. Theme Access and Store Changes

The App may read, write, edit, or create files in your Shopify theme in order to install, update, customize, migrate, or remove Dream Theme upgrades.

We recommend testing upgrades on a duplicate theme before publishing changes to your live store.

You are responsible for reviewing and approving any theme changes before making them live.

14. Limitations and Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully compatible operation with every Shopify theme, app, custom codebase, or third-party service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the App.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dreamworld Lab LLC dba DBRMAN and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and partners from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your violation of this Policy, your violation of applicable laws, or your misuse of the App.

16. Subscription and Billing

Fees are billed through the Shopify App Store and are subject to Shopify’s billing terms.

Refunds, if applicable, are handled in accordance with Shopify’s policies and any terms displayed at the time of purchase or subscription.

17. Termination

You may uninstall the App at any time.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if you violate this Policy, misuse the App, attempt to copy or redistribute the App, interfere with the App’s operation, or use the App for unlawful or harmful purposes.

18. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time.

Material changes will be communicated by updating the effective date above, posting an updated version of this Policy, or providing notice within the App where appropriate.

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Policy.

19. Governing Law

This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
